Traffic Freeflow owns and manages the “Pointsmen Project” that is currently operating in the Johannesburg region, alleviating traffic congestion by providing highly trained, dedicated and passionate pointsmen.

One of the most successful Public-Private Initiatives to date in the country, the project was conceptualised, implemented and is currently owned by Managing Director, Colleen Bekker.

The project runs in collaboration with JMPD (Johannesburg Metro Police Department), JRA (Johannesburg Roads Agency), City of Johannesburg and Talk Radio 702 as the Media Partner.

Various sponsors contribute to the success and growth of the project, with OUTsurance being the launch and major sponsor.

Traffic Freeflow currently operates in the Johannesburg region only but are in continuous negotiations with the various Metro Departments to extend the project into the regions of KwaZulu Natal, Cape Town and Tshwane.
